Welcome!

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Penn State Collegiate FFA. This year, as always, the officer team has many goals and ambitions for the direction we would like to see the chapter head toward. Many recreational, community service and personal development opportunities are sure to be the highlight of 2008.

Additionally, assisting with various Career Development Events at the local, area, and state levels is sure to be a great opportunity to develop all members in both an interpersonal and intrapersonal manner. Nonetheless, as a collegiate organization in the College of Agricultural Sciences here at Penn State, you are viewed with the utmost importance to agriculturalists throughout the Commonwealth and Nation. The leadership characteristics you can gain from Collegiate FFA are tremendous. Additionally, networking with future employers at different events is always a well deserved perk of being a member.

That said, please take it as my personal challenge to you when I say – take advantage of all that Collegiate FFA has to offer. Moreover, Penn State and the College of Agricultural Sciences have many great opportunities, which could potentially open the doors to a bright future. Make sure you take advantage of all those experiences that may arise, no matter how big or small they may be.

Remember, those who grow old rarely have regrets for those things they have done. However, they do usually have regrets for those things that their heart desired and they did not pursue.
Again, I welcome you to the Penn State Collegiate FFA and I am looking forward to an ambitious and productive year.
